The adorable but mighty Garnet, named after Granatus for their resemblance to Pomegranate seeds, are often overlooked due to their commonality.

However, collectors know that Garnets can come in a vast and interesting range of colors and qualities, from grains of dark red used in sandpaper, to incredibly rare and exquisite Tsavorite garnets which comes in a striking bright green and fluoresce, and can fetch very high prices as both specimens and faceted gemstones.
